Kristi Tsang, DVM
Dr. Kristi Tsang is a born Floridian, growing up in the West Palm Beach area. She followed her passion of working with animals starting at a young age, volunteering with local rescue groups at PetSmart adoption days and working in a vet clinic as a kennel assistant. After attending the University of Florida pre-vet program for undergrad, she moved to Central Florida to continue working in a feline only practice as a vet assistant. After deciding that vet medicine was the only career path she could see in her future, she applied and was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After attending Louisiana State University for her clinical year, she graduated in 2013 and moved back to Central Florida to start her career at a local non-profit clinic.
Dr. Tsang is known by many as "the cat whisperer" due to her love of cats and keen interest feline internal medicine. While working in the non-profit sector, she found her passion in shelter medicine and with programs that helped keep animals in their homes, such as high quality, high volume spay/neuter, vaccine and low cost clinics, and donor funded safety net programs.
When not at work, Dr. Tsang spends her time with her husband and their two daughters, three cats, and a guinea pig. She enjoys watching Florida Gator football and Disney movies, gardening, and reading a good adventure/sci-fi story.
